Jan Schönherr

Hello, I'm Jan and I've been working at Herth+Buss since 2009. After sitting my school leavers' exams with a focus on media and design subjects, I started my vocational training as a Media Designer at Herth+Buss, which I was able to successfully complete in 2012. As part of a great team, I was primarily responsible for redesigning packaging to begin with, but was also able to gain some elementary knowledge in designing websites and online catalogues early on. These catalogues have since been a permanent fixture in my field of responsibility. Since 1st January 2017, it has been my privilege to lead the wonderful team that I mentioned above. This naturally adds one or two extra interesting aspects to my day-to-day work.
But that's enough about my work background. There are a few things on my list that I'd like to find more time for in my personal life. The priorities among these change with the seasons. My motorbike – which I love to wheel out on a regular basis – is right at the top. This is pretty closely followed by sport (football, fitness) and I think I can safely count photography among my hobbies too. Apart from these things, I love listening to music! I'm sure my neighbours will forgive me for this.
