Thomas Sattler
Dear readers, my name is Thomas Sattler and I’ve been working at Herth+Buss since 1999... At the start of my career here, I worked in support of our Logistics Control Centre, after which I was posted as a Team Leader for Outgoing Goods for several years. Since March 2015, I’ve been responsible for overall logistics operations at our headquarters in Heusenstamm. This comprises Incoming Goods, Outgoing Goods, the Logistics Control Centre and Packaging. The comprehensive organisation and planning of logistical activities is just one of my duties. In the course of this, I assess current situations, scrutinise existing processes and occupy myself with project-based tasks. This all means that my work is very varied and exciting – and gives me great pleasure, too!22
