Our Elparts range contains various rotating beacons/flashing beacons. But when are these used? The purpose of the intensive light pulses of flashing beacons is to provide a long-distance warning about hazards. The many potentially distracting light sources in cities in particular make a powerful Xenon light or LED-based rotating beacon essential.
The LED flashing light shown in this video can be attached to the mount and provides 120 flashes per minute. Two different flashing patterns can be set. Exactly what that looks like can be seen in the video.
Further features of our rotating beacon/flashing beacon include the following:
• Protection class IP 69K means that this flashing light is ideally guarded against dust and highly intensive water jets, such as from high-pressure steam jet cleaners for example.
• Tested for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
• The rotating beacon satisfies the demands of the stringent ECE standard R65 (test directive for beacons).
Mention should also be made of the twelve shock and vibration-resistant LEDs. These make the flashing light visible from a great distance and guarantee that it is seen by all road users in good time.
Last but not least: The housing of the rotating beacon is made of aluminium and so corrosion-proof, robust and durable.
