In today’s video, our Workshop Buddies introduce our new crimping pliers, which have been further developed based on numerous customer requests. The successor model impresses with innovative functions and technical improvements that are specially tailored to the needs of cable processing. The focus is on an optimised crimp shape (W-crimp or mandrel pressing) and more precise assignment of the cross-section areas to the respective crimp profiles – ideal for reliable and safe crimping in daily use.
The crimping pliers are suitable for non-insulated cable lugs in accordance with DIN 46234, DIN 46230 and DIN 46341, for crimp sleeves up to 16 mm² and for tubular cable lugs up to 10 mm². The releasable positive lock ensures complete crimping. Ergonomic soft-grip handles ensure comfortable working, even during prolonged use. Made of high-strength special steel and with a burnished surface, the pliers offer a long service life and optimum grip. The precisely manufactured crimping profiles enable clear assignment of the cross-section ranges: 0.1–0.5 mm², 0.5–1.5 mm², 2.5–6 mm² and 10–16 mm².
The new crimping pliers are also part of our crimp connector range. This includes the most common butt connectors in accordance with DIN 46341-1B and tubular cable lugs with ring tongue, similar to DIN 13600. For processing cable cross-sections up to 16 mm², the crimping pliers with W-crimp are included in the set.
