In this video, we will show you our LED side marker light, article number 82710482. You can use the light in three different functions, either as a side marker light, retroreflector or as a side indicator.
When used as a side indicator, our marker light meets the requirements of ECE R48 §6. This means that a turning off manoeuvre of a class M1 or N1 vehicle is initiated by a flashing side marker light. In this case, the flashing frequency matches the frequency of the direction indicator on the respective side of the vehicle.
After all, cyclists in particular are often involved in accidents during articulated lorry turning off manoeuvres if they are in the blind spot of the vehicle and can not see the flashing signal itself. Flashing side marker lights can help here and make turning off manoeuvres visible quicker and easier for other road users.
Another advantage of our marker light: You can mount the light directly without a holder or position it inwards or outwards on the vehicle as required using a 90-degree angle bracket. Installation is therefore extremely easy and you can decide whether you want to purchase the marker light with or without a holder when buying the product.
