The Fakra repair kit is part of our RepSolutions programme. Our fakra connector makes the often tricky repair of data and aerial cables quick and easy. Data and aerial cables are often damaged if, for example, the radio is stolen and the cables are severed. We now offer the ideal repair kit for this! As different Fakra housings are usually used in vehicles and the Fakra housings can therefore be used universally, we offer you the neutral Z-coded version. We also offer three different cable lengths to cover different areas of application.
If a female Fakra housing is installed in the vehicle during the repair, our repair cable can be connected directly. If the connection in the vehicle is male, the adapter cable (Art.-No.: 51277244) can be plugged in at one or both ends. This has a socket housing at both ends, so it can be used with our coaxial cables mentioned above. We have also considered the problem that there is no Fakra housing in the vehicle in the form of a mating connector. So if the workshop is looking for a way to connect a single cable to the new repair cables, the adapter cable (Art.-No.: 51277245) can be used. This consists of a crimped-on female Fakra contact (+ housing), a crimped-on female FME contact (+ housing) and a male FME contact. male FME contact.The advantage of this article: the contact can also be soldered.
